Editorial & Publication Design

This collection features my editorial and publication design work, where I combine structure and storytelling through book covers, brochures, booklets, and infographic layouts. I focus on thoughtful composition, typography, and color to guide the viewer’s eye, creating designs that not only inform, but feel intentional and engaging.

BOOK COVER DESIGN

Designed a visually balanced cover, emphasizing typography, composition, and image placement, presented through a polished mock-up.

LAYOUT AND COMPOSITION

Expanded the book cover design into a full layout, refining hierarchy, spacing, and alignment to create a cohesive and structured composition across the spread.

NICHE PUBLICATION

This publication brings together personal photography from my travels in Mongolia alongside select images contributed by my son, who lived in Mongolia and was a part of the community documented here. Additional contextual imagery has been used sparingly to support narrative continuity. The goal was to create an editorial experience that feels both intimate and documentary, reflecting lived connection rather than distant observation.

This publication received an Honorable Mention in Graphic Design at the 2026 Student Showcase at Ivy Tech Community College in Evansville, IN

COOKBOOK DESIGN

Layout-focused project of a mini cookbook, emphasizing composition, typography, and visual hierarchy to create clear, engaging page designs.

Layout-focused project featuring a Manny Librodo booklet, emphasizing composition, typography, and visual hierarchy to create clear, engaging page designs.

SEVEN WONDERS INFOGRAPHIC

An eye-catching infographic exploring the Seven Wonders of the World, designed to communicate information visually through bold color, typography, and layout. The hierarchy and composition guide the viewer’s eye, making complex content engaging and easy to understand.
