HEAVENLY THREADS: A TWO-PART SKY STUDY
This two-part project explores how color, contrast, and tonal interpretation can transform the mood of a single photograph through both monochrome and color using a dramatic landscape photograph where an expansive sky filled with wispy, textured clouds dominates the frame above a highway leading into the distance. The softness, depth, and movement of the clouds create a strong visual pull, inviting the viewer to pause and take in the scale and atmosphere of the scene. Rich blue tones, enhanced contrast, and carefully refined cloud detail heighten the natural drama of the original photograph while maintaining its authenticity.

MONOCHROME SKY STUDY
A high-contrast black-and-white interpretation of the same photograph, transforming the expansive sky into a dramatic study of light, shadow, and tone. The monochrome treatment brings out the intricate textures and tonal variations within the wispy clouds, creating greater depth and emphasizing the powerful atmosphere of the scene.
